Question 1

What do I earn on a sale?

Accepted Answer

On a settled sale of one title, 80 percent is allocated to the author and 20 percent to the platform. Paystack’s transaction fee is deducted from the platform’s 20 percent share.

Question 2

What must I submit?

Accepted Answer

The permit asks for a pen name, a short bio, genres, a sample title and description, whether the sample is an ebook or audio, an optional portfolio link, and a Nigerian bank account.

Question 3

How is the file protected?

Accepted Answer

Books and audiobooks are scrambled before they are stored. The app unscrambles a file only for a reader who is allowed to open that title. While the reader is open, the reader’s email is shown on the page.

Question 4

Where is the full process written down?

Accepted Answer

The author and publisher guide in the app describes the permit, publishing a title, and requesting a payout. This page does not add terms beyond that guide.
